Edison, NJ – March 19, 2024 – The Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (EAS Carpenters Union) proudly announced the presentation of the prestigious Patriot Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense Office, to Daniel Sebban, an Army veteran and EAS Carpenters Union Representative. The award ceremony took place at the Carpenters Technical School in Edison, NJ on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.
The Patriot Award is bestowed upon individuals who demonstrate outstanding support for military service members transitioning into civilian life. Daniel Sebban, through his role within the Carpenters Union, has been instrumental in providing employment opportunities and professional career paths to transitioning military personnel, facilitating their integration into the building trades union.
The event featured Patricia Ward from the ESGR office of the Department of Defense, who presented the Patriot Award to Daniel Sebban on behalf of the DOD Secretary of Defense.
